Not much rivals the volcanos on Iceland, but a EVE community picking up speed is a fearsome sight. Something was said about walk alongside us players? I think itÆs a long time since the DEVs actually did that, in the terms of play their own game and mingle with the lesser mortals. Then again being a DEV and such give little spare time to actually do that I suppose. CCP made the sandbox, we live in it. When you take a dump into it, expect **** start flying around.
With so many claiming to toss their subscriptions onto what seems to be CCPÆs HQ on fire, you should fear more the ones that doesnÆt make so much noise about it but just do it. Log out and EVE-Over.
I been here since 2003, donÆt intend to go anywhere just yet, although I question the incentive to keep multiple accounts alive seeing CQ is roasting my computer (which had no problem at all run 4 clients at same time before patch. Now with CQ enabled it give computer almost a heat stroke with just one). Having the option to disembark by click of a button in the old hanger view rather than just get thrown into CQ would be a much better choice, which many have already stated.
As many otherÆs I care less about vanity items get sold, as they have no real impact on the sandbox. Some noise about higher PLEX prices but that is nothing new, they been up and down in the past and will in the future, although the lol factor on monocles cost the same as dreadnought. HEY! Wait you saying players buy dreadnoughts with PLEX? PlayerÆs can already buy things in EVE using PLEX converted from cash to ISK so that is nothing new. What I and many of my fellow capsulers in EVE got a big problem with is if players can start spend AUR to buy items, standings, whatever really that will have an impact on the sandbox. Get negative 10? Just buy a clean record with AUR, need that 7 faction points to plant a tower in high sec? spend some AUR, and so on. IÆm a bit afraid that in the chase of progress, advance and attract new subscribers to your game, you forgot the most important thing. Your own subscribers. ItÆs your business, but our milk, and itÆs getting sour.
